  • Support laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements, and the ISO 17025 standard
  • Implement corrective and preventative actions to reduce costs and improve reliability
  • Maintain a working knowledge of EH&S safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner
  • Utilize x5 for work order and PM (Preventative Maintenance) management
  • Respond to emergencies and support after-hours facility needs and activities as required
  • Assist and perform other work as assigned to support facilities activities
  • Submit purchase order requisitions for parts
  • Maintain effective communications across all departments
  • Direct and work alongside contractors, as needed
  • Ensure facilities comply with all environmental policies and procedures
  • Monitor and operate the Daikin Building Management System (BMS)
  • Perform all scheduled maintenance as established in x5 (Daikin’s CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System)), and provides input into new maintenance schedules as equipment/facilities are added or changed
  • Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are upheld at all times
  • Comply with Company safety procedures at all times
  • Maintain chillers
  • Assist in activities related to internal and external environmental audits
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair test rooms, test cells and facilities
  • Respond to and troubleshoot maintenance requests involving electrical, structural, plumbing and equipment repair or replacement

  • Two-year associate degree in HVAC maintenance-related subject matter (e.g., HVAC/R Certified Technician)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification
  • 7+ years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
