

Specializes in utility infrastructure, including construction and maintenance of power lines.
Under the supervision of the Michigan Overhead Lines Manager, the Work Field Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing testing, repair, and purchasing of tools and personal protective equipment such as grounds and hot‑sticks for the Michigan regions. The role also evaluates damaged tools, repairs them within a managed budget, develops a high‑value tool tracking system, and coordinates one‑key programs with vendors.
Candidates will be evaluated on depth of experience, location of experience, and relevant education or certifications. A certificate of accreditation from an approved college or university or equivalent building‑trade experience is preferred but not required. Upon offer, employees must complete and pass a pre‑employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check, and possess a valid driver’s license.
The position requires physical activities ranging from continuous tasks such as standing, walking, and communication, to frequent duties like lifting 10–50 lb, climbing ladders, and manual dexterity, occasional activities such as stooping and climbing stairs, and rare tasks such as crawling and lifting up to 50 lb.
