-Prepare and submit monthly Schedule Variance Reports to highlight deviations and support decision-making. -Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) analyses to monitor schedule performance. -Assist in reviewing and evaluating contractors’ recovery schedules. -Assist in updating and validating the month-to-month program master schedule in collaboration with the Construction Project Team. -Provide scheduling support to other team members as needed. -Review contractor schedules to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards. -Monitor actual costs against the cash-flow forecast to track financial performance and identify variances. -Evaluate and report on contractor schedule updates (weekly/monthly), draft narratives, and present indings to management. -Develop project schedules in alignment with established program master schedule execution strategies. -Collaborate closely with the Lead Scheduler, Project Manager, and Project Engineers to implement schedule updates. -Identify scheduling issues during project execution and recommend timely, practical, and innovative solutions. -Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and validate schedule updates. -Assist in developing cost-loaded schedules for accurate cash-flow forecasting. -Assist in reviewing time impact analyses to evaluate schedule changes and their effects on project timelines.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills. -Knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of cost engineering and scheduling. -One (1) to three (3) years of experience in program or project scheduling on large construction programs for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably involving multiple educational facilities or public works projects. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. -Advanced proficiency in specific software, including but not limited to Primavera Scheduling Software and Microsoft Office applications (Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional qualifying experience beyond the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
