- Partner with jobsite and division office Teams in evaluating contractual entitlement and potential cost recovery and/or defense options
- Developing contractor damage calculation experience.
- Direct team in preparing plans to mitigate liabilities and/or develop approaches and methods of claims avoidance
- Develop baseline contract schedules with project team and support schedule updates
- Perform system administrator functions related to P6 EPPM
- Recommend measures to Project Teams with regards to protecting and/or preserving rights to recovery of claims
- Provide instructional design support and conduct training for end users of P6 EPPM
- Quantify Contractor damages resulting from project delays, disruptions, and acceleration
- Analyzing Subcontractor claim damages
- Oversee Construction Scheduling/Claims Analysts and Scheduling/Cost Associates from a guidance and mentoring standpoint
- Perform detailed schedule analyses necessary to quantify Contractor’s entitlement / liabilities utilizing critical path methodology
- Prepare claims for mediation and in recommendations and settlement negotiations
- Prepare project specific recovery/acceleration plan schedules as required under the Contract
- Present claims analysis and rebuttal during mediation
- Supervise the entire process of research, organize and assemble project documentation and facts related to claim entitlement issues and damage recovery under the contract
- Participate as an expert trainer within Swinerton training sessions (Cornerstone, foundations, Structural)
- Conduct forensic cost and schedule analysis in support of detailed cause and effect claim presentations
- Developing impacted As-Built schedule analysis

- Proficient written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, and professional telephone manner
- Able to perform all Construction Scheduling/Claims Associate job responsibilities
- Construction claims analysis and scheduling experience required
- Delay and disruption claim preparation assembly experience including:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint, working knowledge of Outlook and Word
- With 5 years in the construction claim field
- Participation in claim negotiation preferred
- Entitlement argument and narrative writing experience.
- Experience in integrating P6 EPPM and Synchro for 4D Schedule models
- Advanced knowledge of P6 EPPM including baseline schedule development, system administration functions, and ability to train others in system functionality
- Strong working knowledge of current construction scheduling software applications
- Ability to write reports using Oracle BI Publisher or similar application preferred
- Working knowledge of construction means and methods, management techniques, and cost accounting principles.
- 7+ years of experience (construction claims analysis or construction project controls field and scheduling)
- Regular travel (both locally and inter-state) required
- Entitlement fact package assembly and development experience.
- Critical path method scheduling and analysis experience.
