The Senior Design Engineer – Cleanroom will lead the design, engineering, and qualification of cleanroom and dry‑room facilities for semiconductor and battery fabrication. The role requires deep expertise in cleanroom standards, cross‑functional collaboration, and a focus on process efficiency and cost optimization.
Key responsibilities include conceptual cleanroom design, layout development with tool integration, preparation of tender drawings and specifications, and oversight of construction, installation, and certification. The engineer will also manage equipment and waste‑flow integration, ensure compliance with SEMI, ISO, OSHA, EPA, NFPA and other standards, and coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and stakeholders while providing technical guidance to junior staff.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in architecture or engineering and have 15+ years of semiconductor cleanroom design experience, including proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, IES‑VE, CFD, and energy‑modeling tools. Preferred qualifications include greenfield/brownfield fab design experience and sustainability expertise. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and multi‑project management skills are essential.
