The role is responsible for guaranteeing that all manufactured, delivered, or received products meet customer expectations and applicable standards. Core duties include managing project quality, control and assurance for both onshore and offshore activities, preparing the annual quality budget with CoPQ forecasts and staffing, and monitoring team utilization and efficiency. The manager will evaluate performance, define improvement plans, lead hiring for quality positions, and ensure timely communication of quality information across the organization. Additional responsibilities involve collaborating with Supplier Quality and Sourcing, overseeing compliance with global and customer requirements, chairing customer quality sessions, tracking monthly KPIs, resolving customer issues, and driving reduction of non‑conformances.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, production, or business administration and have at least five years of Oil & Gas experience with direct or indirect quality responsibilities. A continuous‑improvement mindset, knowledge of subsea equipment quality requirements, and proficiency with tools such as 5 Whys, fishbone analysis, FMEA, 5S, Lean and Six Sigma are required. Strong leadership, negotiation, influencing, and communication skills in English are essential, along with proven analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities. Collaboration and ethical conduct are expected in all activities.
A master’s degree in People Management or Quality Management is preferred, and the position offers flexible working patterns, including the ability to flex daily work hours to support personal productivity.
