Responsible for the safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment
Coordinate the activities of Service Technicians.
Will conduct regular inspections of all rent-ready equipment to ensure they meet the standards set by Opifex.
Diagnose and supervise the repair of equipment to ensure work is thorough and is performed efficiently.
May be asked to travel to the customer job site for repair/maintenance of rental equipment.
Works to ensure that the shop, yard, and wash bay areas are organized, and meet set standards of cleanliness.
Although this position has no direct reports, the Shop Foreman will train and supervise mechanical personnel when necessary and in the absence of the Service Manager.
Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner daily.
Ensures the shop maintains and complies fully with company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE by shop and yard technicians.
