What you would be doing

  • Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects at any one time, embracing the ethos of a “one team” culture.
  • Work alongside qualified experienced Mechanical Fitters / Fabricators with onsite fabrication and installation.
  • Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards, policies and procedures are always adhered to on-site.
  • Liaise closely with the project delivery engineering team on-site, HSQE advisor, and management in order to ensure safe and timely delivery of duties.
  • Have an awareness of best practice housekeeping and make a conscious effort to uphold housekeeping on your site.
  • Ensure a positive experience for the client and their representatives instilling an ethos of collaboration, cooperation and respect.

  • Experience on Irish Water projects a distinct advantage
  • Manual handling and safe pass required
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety standards and the ability to embrace the safety ethos of the organisation
  • Trailer Licence, Telehandler, MEWP, abrasive wheel tickets must be up to date and will be considered advantageous.
  • Ability to install pipework and brackets, mechanical equipment and mechanical maintenance.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar role, preferably in utilities/ water and wastewater industry.
