As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will help drive new product initiatives from concept through release. Responsibilities include:
Regularly communicating project status to leadership
Designing and developing new mechanical products using AutoCAD and Inventor
Managing project schedules and coordinating cross-functional efforts
Creating 2D/3D models, detailed drawings, and design documentation
Leading product development tasks and monitoring project milestones
Supporting prototype builds, testing, and design refinement
Collaborating with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Business Development, and Finance teams

A well-established engineering and manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join its New Product Development team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys both hands-on design work and project management.
2–5+ years of engineering experience (product development or project engineering preferred)
Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related)
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience working cross-functionally and in fast-paced environments
Blend of technical design work + project management
