Collaborates with other accounting team members to establish/modify procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the month, quarter, and year-end closing and reporting cycles.
Prepares quarterly and annual debt covenant calculations.
Evaluates implications of legal documents as they pertain to significant accounting transactions.
Provides oversight of the books and records for various entities, including the preparation of complete financial statements, inclusive of footnotes, for a sub-consolidation audit, as well as for operating entities and holding companies.

Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and industry professionals.
Knowledge of Registered Investment Advisor roles/responsibilities and Limited Partner communication/reporting requirements.
1-3 years leadership experience Preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred
Ability and flexibility to effectively function and multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
Bachelor's Degree degree in accounting Required
May have exposure to oversight of enterprise-wide data integrity monitoring and measurement.
Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation, including footnote preparation, GAAP, and internal control policies and procedures required.

Ability to define problems and organize efficient solutions, analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
Knowledge of fair value, investment company guide, revenue recognition, and leasing accounting standards.
Demonstrated ability to research, interpret, and communicate a variety of technical accounting issues.
