Sr Planner/Scheduler

Description

We are seeking a Sr. Planner/Scheduler to join our on‑site team at Cape Canaveral. The incumbent will provide technical support and execution of project controls and scheduling functions using Deltek VantagePoint, assist the Project Manager with Critical Path Method compliance, validate subcontractor schedules, and manage forecasting, workarounds, and project tracking needs.

• Create and maintain schedules.
• Develop and maintain all project schedules and coordinate schedules with the client.
• Support the project in compiling multiple subproject schedules to establish weekly work status.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and other ad hoc reporting as required by the contract or requested by the Project Manager.
• Support the project with day‑to‑day administration, including financial control, reporting, and monitoring.
• Provide earned value progress and performance reporting for the project.
• Validate variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain all manpower loading for projects in Deltek.
• Maintain project Closeout Tracker on a real‑time basis.
• Report project schedule status in staff meetings.

Requirements

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience, and at least eight years of progressive project‑controls experience, including five years on large‑scale projects and earned‑value management. Proficiency with Deltek Acumen, financial analysis, the MS Office suite, and the ability to work independently are essential.
