The Maintenance Technician ensures vacant units are turned to market‑ready condition by performing technical and mechanical work that meets Greystar’s quality standards. The role follows the community’s make‑ready checklist and prepares apartments for new residents.
Core duties include completing repairs and improvements before move‑in, caulking and sealing windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers, inspecting and repairing sheetrock, and performing touch‑up painting as directed. The technician also supports grounds and common‑area upkeep by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pools, cleaning, and painting curbs and signage. Additional responsibilities involve cost‑saving practices, accurate documentation of checklists and work orders, compliance with safety and OSHA training, and delivering courteous service to residents.
The position pays $15–$16 per hour, with potential eligibility for weekly, monthly or quarterly bonuses depending on location.
