Aerial Foreman
Mastec Communications Group
Provides infrastructure, construction, and engineering services for telecommunications and energy sectors.
Supervise aerial telecom construction crews, install/repair CATV, fiber, and poles.
Oversee daily schedules, delivery schedules, and daily productivity of the Aerial crew
Direct the activities on the job site
Act as the lead for in-house crews
Review project plans, specifications installation instructions to ensure the project is built according to the approved design specifications
Place, relocate and remove poles, lines, open-wire, drop and block wire in order to maintain efficient operation of the customers’ facilities
Properly fill out necessary documentation, record time for the crew, etc.
Install and/or repair aerial CATV, coaxial and fiber cable
Set up a safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers

You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
You are comfortable working in a bucket truck and climbing poles
Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, Aerial and Underground Construction, etc.
You are able to work on call including evenings and weekends as needed
You have a strong knowledge of CATV building practices and CTV/Aerial field equipment
You will have 3+ years of experience in telecommunications construction
You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
You are able to work and climb up to 35 feet
AT&T experience is preferred
You have knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety requirements to complete the job(s) safely
You are comfortable working under pressure and in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
You are able to operate a digger Derek truck
You have OSHA 10 training, CPR, and Flagging certification
You know the telecom construction industry
You are able to lift up to 70 lbs
You are able to read and understand work orders and CTV cable prints
You are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
You have demonstrated leadership skills

Overtime pay will be provided in accordance with California labor laws, at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for hours worked over 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a workweek.
