The specialist will guide client interactions, develop proposals, and coordinate comprehensive environmental compliance projects, including air, water, and waste regulatory matters. EnSafe’s team evaluates industrial facilities, assists with permits, and delivers cost-effective strategies to maintain compliance and improve performance.

Prepare environmental compliance reports per RCRA, CAA, CWA, and EPCRA.
Travel overnight across Texas and the U.S. to conduct audits and assist clients.
Develop stormwater pollution prevention plans, SPCC plans, and hazardous waste contingency plans.
Create permitting and compliance programs for air, wastewater, stormwater, waste, and EPCRA reporting.
Manage projects and mentor junior staff.
Implement corrective and preventive actions for client non-conformances.
Provide project management, coordination, and implementation for regulatory compliance and permitting.
Supports career development, mentorship, and wellness initiatives.

Hold a B.S. in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
Possess 10+ years of environmental compliance experience.
Demonstrate strong consulting and critical-thinking skills.
Experience managing scopes, proposals, schedules, and multiple project teams.
Preferred: Professional Engineering license, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager certification, or other environmental credentials.
Preferred experience: air emission permitting (Texas PBR/NSR, Federal Title V), SPCC and SWPPP development, EPCRA 312/313 reporting, hazardous waste reporting and contingency planning, industrial wastewater permitting and reporting, compliance auditing.
