  • Overseeing coordination between electrical design, other disciplines, and site teams to maintain programme and buildability.
  • Supporting construction activities, quality assurance, and final documentation to close out the project.
  • Engaging with consultants, subcontractors, and the client to resolve design challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Managing and reviewing electrical design deliverables to ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and technical requirements.
  • Managing technical queries, changes, and assurance documentation in the run-up to commissioning and handover.

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (Chartered status desirable).

  • Proven experience as a Design Manager (electrical bias) in complex infrastructure projects – ideally in water, wastewater, or process-driven environments.
  • Ability to interpret and apply design management processes from concept through to handover.
  • Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary coordination and working to tight deadlines.
