Tasks

Position Summary: The Field Canvassing Team Lead is responsible for hiring, training, and developing a team of Field Canvassers to build Leaf Home brand awareness in pre-selected high-probability neighborhoods. Leaf Home will recruit, hire, train, and promote persons in all job titles without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, results of genetic testing, veteran status, or physical/mental disability (except where the disability prevents the individual from being able to perform the essential functions of the job and cannot be reasonably accommodated in full compliance with the law). -Identify, schedule, and plan route calendar (including evenings and weekends) for team of Field Canvassers in assigned territory. -Track and report canvassing lead generation metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of territory. -Manage a multi-team territory to generate customer lead generation. -Drive canvassing-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow up. -Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of Field Canvassers and create accountability through established marketing goals and KPIs. -Manage permit requirements in assigned territories to ensure compliance with local ordinances and regulations. -Work closely with the Field Canvassing Manager to collaborate with the local Operations and Installation Mangers to grow brand presence within the local market. -Performs work outside in varying temperatures and climates. -Responsible for exceeding sales lead quotas based upon established KPIs.

Americans with Disabilities Act Statement and Contact -Experience recruiting, onboarding, and training marketing, canvassing, and/or event staff. -Previous door-to-door canvassing experience. -Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first. -Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection. -Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for canvassing and direct to consumer field marketing. -Detail-oriented and can focus on task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion. -Home improvement knowledge and/or experience. -Ability to work outside in varying climates. -Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). -Experience in lead generation, experiential marketing, and/or field canvassing. -Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball.” -2+ years of management experience in field canvassing for direct-to-consumer industry. -Experience in customer service and/or sales. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Local travel required. -Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. -Ability to work evenings and/or weekends. -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
