The Marshalling Yard Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the receipt, inspection, storage, staging, and dispatch of project materials and equipment at the marshalling yard. This role ensures seamless material flow between project site and module fabrication yards maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency in line with the project schedule and logistics plan.
Coordinate daily yard logistics operations including receiving, unloading, inspection, storage, and dispatch of cargo, components, and equipment.
Ensure materials are staged correctly for onward delivery to yard or project site
Monitor cargo handling equipment usage (e.g., forklifts, trailers, cranes) and coordinate with operators to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods.
Conduct visual inspections and coordinate quality checks or damage reports for incoming materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records and tracking of all inbound and outbound materials using logistics systems.
Work closely with transport providers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely material handling.
Liaise with site planners and construction teams to align yard operations with work front readiness and construction schedules.
Prepare and review load lists, material transfer documents, shipping dockets, and packing lists.
Support logistics reporting by updating delivery schedules, inventory reports, and issue logs.
Oversee yard layout planning to optimize storage space, access routes, and traffic flow within the marshalling yard.
Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations, including implementation of yard-specific safety protocols.
