The Assistant Community Manager supports day‑to‑day operations at an apartment community, handling financial record‑keeping, leasing, marketing, and resident relations. This role ensures accurate data classification, rent collection, and compliance with housing regulations while contributing to community growth.
- Perform marketing and leasing activities to achieve or exceed occupancy goals.
- Implement resident retention programs, including move‑in and service follow‑ups.
- Maintain positive resident relations and address concerns before escalation.
- Collect rents, make daily deposits and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Enforce rent collection policies and process invoices.
- Monitor lease renewals, distribute notices, and follow up with residents.
- Prepare move‑in paperwork promptly in line with housing regulations and company policies.
- Generate monthly reports for the Property Manager.
- Sit at a desk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 20 lb items.
- Read documents, operate computer equipment, and work on‑site with exposure to elements, confined spaces, heights, or hazardous areas.

- Minimum 2 years tax credit and multifamily property management experience.
- Knowledge of HUD rules, low‑income housing policies, and OneSite software (preferred).
- Demonstrate strong leadership, management abilities, and flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
