- Evaluate project performance onsite against key metrics and objectives, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in and run project meetings and facilitate effective communication among team members and subcontractors.
- Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor project progress and safety and identify potential risks or issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure all project documentation, permits, as-builts and regulatory requirements are properly maintained in the field.
- Identify, facilitate, and understand RFI’s, submittals and schedules for proper execution.
- Plan, schedule, and manage construction projects onsite from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety, quality, and timelines.
- Review project plans and coordinate the scope of work, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide regular project updates to the J&L Project Manager, addressing any concerns or changes in project scope.
- Mentor and supervise onsite project team members and subcontractors, providing guidance, and feedback.

- Have TI and ground-up experience.
- Must be able to interview with potential clients for new projects.
- Have experience in building operating rooms.
- 5+ years of experience as the lead Superintendent managing projects.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Have full understanding and experience in OSHPD 1 & 2 projects.
- Must be able to develop project schedules. Microsoft Project mandatory, Primavera a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in standard software and tools used in construction.
- Ability to create, update and execute a project schedule when handed a set of plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Background check and drug testing required for position.
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
- Travel requirements: must have a valid driver’s license and must be insurable by the Company’s insurance carrier. Travel based on jobsite locations within the surrounding Sacramento Valley Region.
- Operating Rooms in ASC spaces is a plus.
- Have experience in Life Science projects.
