You will be leading the facilities management team and working closely with the development team. This role will involve a high level of project management.

Stakeholder liaison and management is key in this role and you will be required to brief and provide advice to key stakeholders and present to executive leaders.

  • Manage and negotiate renewals of service contracts and identify new service providers
  • Managing and mentoring a small team of Facilities Managers and Assistants to support their career development and lead by example
  • You will have full budget responsibility for the maintenance and compliance of the portfolio
  • Manage all service contracts
  • The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Property & Infrastructure by managing and being responsible for facilities planning and asset management of owner properties and supporting its 130+ other their assets
  • Manage the relationships with managing agents across a range of commercial and residential leases
  • Planning for capex and opex expenditure across assets in accordance with PPM requirement and priority projects
  • Act as the single point of contact for all facilities management matters within the team
  • Manage health and safety systems and compliance
  • Contract negotiation and tendering for subcontractors and relevant services
  • Develop effective relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors, providing reliable advice and technical knowledge
  • Preparation and management of 10-year maintenance forecast budget and annual budget preparation
  • Responsible for reporting, budgeting and proactively identifying ongoing process improvements, whilst adhering to all property related regulatory and government obligations

This role will be based at the Leichhardt office where your team will be based, with travel required to other sites across Sydney, along with a hybrid working from home arrangement.
