The journeyman plumber studies building plans and drawings to determine the sequence of pipe installation, marks pipe locations, cuts openings in walls and floors, and uses hand and power tools to cut, thread, bend, and assemble both metal and non‑metal piping systems.
- Study building plans and drawings to determine pipe installation sequence.

- Cut, thread, bend, and assemble metal and non‑metal pipes and fittings.
- Join pipes with screws, bolts, solder, solvent, or caulking and test system pressure with water or air.
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and garbage disposals.
- Perform maintenance tasks like fixing leaky faucets, repairing burst pipes, and clearing clogged drains.
- Ensure work complies with applicable Army Regulations, manufacturer instructions, and DoD disposal guidelines.

The salary range for this position is $10,710.00 – $16,830.00; candidates must be authorized to work in the country, and background checks covering education, employment, references, and security screenings will be performed.
