The job requires collecting equipment from the depot, performing installations and removals in domestic settings, and maintaining thorough records. Engineers are expected to uphold excellent customer service, develop technical expertise, and ensure each lift matches the user’s specifications.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Stairlift Installation Engineer to join our Audenshaw installation team. Candidates should reside in or near Audenshaw, as the role involves travelling to customers’ homes across the surrounding area to install and remove stairlift systems.
The position works Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm. We expect candidates to present a smart appearance, be self‑motivated, and demonstrate a high standard of workmanship.
Applicants must have prior experience installing and testing stairlifts, supported by a mechanical or electrical background. The role provides ongoing training on new products, and a valid full UK driving licence and a DBS check are mandatory.
Key qualifications include proven stairlift installation experience, a full UK driving licence, and completion of a DBS check; experience with non‑licensable asbestos work is desirable.
