This role owns the full people lifecycle at Coastline Equity, covering hiring, onboarding, engagement, performance, and retention. It ensures people systems are compliant, consistent, and human‑centered while helping leaders build strong, accountable teams aligned with company values.
Key responsibilities include leading full‑cycle recruiting, partnering with department heads to forecast hiring needs, and managing onboarding and offboarding for consistency and compliance. The role also oversees HR operations such as compliance with California, federal and local laws, FMLA, leaves, accommodations, handbook and policy maintenance, and regular audits. Additionally, it serves as a trusted point of contact for employee relations, conducts investigations, administers performance management rhythms, and supports managers with documentation and corrective actions. Finally, the position drives employee engagement, monitors retention trends, assesses culture fit, and partners with leadership on career development and people strategies.
Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and possess either a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or at least five years of HR experience. They should have two or more years in HR leadership, at least one year of full‑cycle recruiting and onboarding experience, strong English communication skills, and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
