What you would be doing

- Provide training support for Apprentices and work colleagues to help improve skills levels
- Contribute and comply with accurate collation of Shop Floor Documentation information including data contained within HCO’s Shop Floor Data Collection system (SFDC).
- Adhere to all relevant instructions contained within Work Standard Instructions (WSI’s) in the manufacture of Compressor components.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in compliance with company policy to ensure safe working environment.
- Deliver quality components in a timely manner whilst contributing to efficient and effective manufacturing principles.
- Interact and respond to all aspects of HBE supporting cost reduction, efficiency, delivery and Quality improvements.
- Manufacture compressor components to Engineering drawings and specifications to ensure successful first time build and test of finished compressors.

- Good communication skills
- Experience/Understanding in working with Siemens controls
- Ability in the use of measuring equipment – micrometres – Ball Mics Thread gauges – Callipers
- Experienced in multi-disciplined CNC machining – Turning, Milling and Grinding. Profile Grinding
- Previous experience with precision manufacturing
- Engineering Drawing interpretation ability
- Recognised Engineering apprenticeship and relevant qualifications.
- Conform to all aspects of HCO’s Quality Management System including the fulfilment of all relevant procedures etc. including all Standard Practice Instructions (SPI’s)
