What you’ll do: Manage complex projects with detailing teams and multiple products and vendors from estimating to project completion, cultivating a positive customer service environment while maximizing profits for Nucor Rebar Fabrication.
- Review contract documents/drawings and coordinate detailing to ensure safe, cost‑effective, efficient supply of products and services.
- Provide total contract management for each project, coordinating detailing, scheduling, delivery, and costs using company systems and standards.
- Oversee fulfillment of contractual obligations on assigned projects.
- Coordinate project requirements with contractor’s representative, engineer, or architect per contract management guidelines.
- Schedule detailing and delivery of required products and services with contractor and detailing teams.
- Review project changes, assess scope, work with estimating team for accuracy, and process documentation per change order procedures.
- Assist in change order process to achieve customer acceptance.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff, workers, and customers.
- Represent the company in project meetings as needed.
- Work with Detailing Manager to control financial aspects of contracts, protecting company interests while maintaining customer relationships.
- Prepare reports on work progress, costs, and scheduling.

- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- At least 3 years of experience detailing rebar projects.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Effective leadership and coordination of own and others’ actions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Critical thinking and proficiency with applicable tools.
- Ability to apply ACI codes and CRSI standards.
- Experience in customer relations and resolving problems or disputes.
- Basic knowledge of contract law, standard business practices, and human relations.
- Protective equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, etc., must be worn on the worksite.
