Conduct independent compliance audits of Developer-performed environmental inspections and documentation.
Verify implementation of approved Comprehensive Environmental Protection Plan (CEPP), Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and erosion/sediment control measures.
Coordinate with Environmental OV Manager, construction teams, and regulatory agencies as needed.
Conduct field inspections to observe environmental practices and confirm compliance with applicable permits, including NPDES, Section 404/401.
Review Developer’s Environmental Compliance Reports, inspection logs, and corrective action records for accuracy and completeness.
Support environmental incident response and participate in lessons-learned reviews.
Track and document findings; issue audit reports with clear, actionable recommendations.

Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission Level 1A Certification (Certified Personnel) or ability to obtain certification
General understanding of construction plans, specifications, and permits with emphasis on Georgia sediment and erosion control practices,

4+ years of environmental construction/compliance experience with transportation projects administered by the GDOT is a plus
