In this role the representative provides multi‑disciplined security support for the Air Force Special Access Program, handling day‑to‑day collateral, SCI, and SAP activities. Responsibilities include classification reviews, document accountability, mail processing, visitor control, and ensuring compliance with the customer’s security procedures.

• Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
• Maintain and update document accountability databases and related logs.
• Process classified mail, faxes, courier packages, and receipt records.
• Destroy classified materials and manage magnetic media accountability.
• Provide reproduction support for classified documents.
• Assist with inbound and outbound data transfer files and electronic file transfers.
• Maintain a comprehensive customer point‑of‑contact database.
• Escort facility visitors, log visits, and prepare access control badges.
• Perform entry and exit inspections and maintain visitor control systems.
• Enter data into the Personnel Access Security System and manage billet quotas.
• Maintain personnel security files for all supported personnel.
• Enforce customer Standard Operating Procedures and support security awareness programs.
• Track and monitor security clearance processing with government personnel.
• Participate in Air Force SAP security compliance inspections.
• Implement Top Secret control for accountable material and correspondence.
• Prepare and review Program Access Requests (PARs) for eligibility.
• Execute SAP nomination questionnaires and conduct DCII/DISS/SAPNP reviews.
• Perform data entry and record checks in the Air Force Access Data System (AFADS).
• Conduct indoctrinations and provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for team members.

Requirements

The Activity Security Representative III is a full‑time, non‑contingent position located in Washington, DC. It requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility for SAP information and consent for a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Candidates must have 5‑7 years of related experience, a minimum of two years’ SAP experience, and relevant certifications such as the Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and Special Program Security Certification (SPSC). A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, and prior active‑duty service in the U.S. Air Force is considered a plus.

• Hold 5‑7 years of related experience, including at least 2 years SAP experience.
• Hold SFPC and SPSC certifications (each counts toward one year of experience).
• Maximum of 3 years of experience credited from SPED certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (counts as four years of experience).
• Prior active duty in the U.S. Air Force is a plus.
