- Enjoy a diverse curriculum which includes an introduction to: Manufacturing and engineering, administration, IT, Warehousing and logistics, procurement and supply chain, and technical & computer aided drawing (CAD).
- You thrive in a team setting, understand the importance of communication and trust, and take pride in contributing to a collective mission within the Defence industry.
- Ideal for anyone considering a career in construction and maintenance of nuclear powered submarines, naval fleet and/or the defence industry.
- You are punctual and can travel to work in your own vehicle or have other reliable transport. A drivers licence is required (P’s at a minimum, or L’s with P’s within 3 months).
- 12-month commitment with high potential for ongoing employment within defence industry upon successful completion.
- Reliable, resilient, and motivated to put in the hard work needed to build a strong and rewarding career.
- You have an open mind and are willing to try everything! This is an amazing opportunity to learn what you like and are good at, and maybe what you don’t like! You may even find a passion for a career that you never even knew existed!
- Be paid for the duration of the traineeship (includes annual leave, personal leave and superannuation).
- Gain work experience at a variety of defence industry companies located at various SA locations.
- Receive ongoing support and guidance from dedicated mentors, coaches, and educators throughout the traineeship.
