This is a great opportunity to join the Cumbria team as a Housing Management worker. As the housing and property expert you will ensure customers’ homes are safe and well maintained, support tenancy and rent account management, and promote social engagement to help residents stay active and connected.
You will work with customers over 55, ensuring their properties are homes they can be proud of and involving them in tenancy and community activities. Duties include assisting with housing benefit claims, maintaining full occupancy and up‑to‑date rent accounts, carrying out safety and compliance checks, and handling administration, record‑keeping, and payment coordination for maintenance work.
The ideal candidate is a people‑person with background in property management or similar compliance and health‑and‑safety experience. You should have a proactive, organised, “can‑do” attitude, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Housing Management Worker (251540) – £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum, pro rata), permanent part‑time (18.5 hours per week) based in Egremont, Cumbria. The role does not include a Certificate of Sponsorship. Home Group offers a workplace where you belong.

Flexible working patterns are possible, with a typical schedule of 3.75 hours per day, Monday‑Friday, based at the Egremont service. The role involves office and customer‑facing work, use of technology for health‑and‑safety records and benefit claims, occasional scheme coverage, and travel with mileage reimbursement. An Enhanced DBS check is required and will be paid for.
