Description

• Construct, install, and maintain natural gas utility piping systems and equipment.
• Join piping using fusion, electrofusion, or mechanical coupled joints.
• Perform quality assurance tests to verify specifications.
• Load and unload equipment and materials; keep worksite clean and organized.
• Maintain required industry operator qualifications.
• Receive weekly payroll.
• Work outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing, climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
• Work within the “red zone” of heavy equipment.
• Maintain quick, accurate hand‑eye coordination and constant alertness for safety.
• Provide valid US work authorization for E‑Verify.
• Join and maintain union membership.

As an experienced Gas Utility Pipe Fuser/Fitter, you will report to a skilled Foreman, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining underground gas utility systems while ensuring safety, efficiency, and top‑quality results. We value teamwork, and you will also assist with general labor as needed to support project success.

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Have at least 1 year of pipe fitting/fusing experience in the gas utility industry.
• Follow safety instructions in English; fluency required.
• Pass pre‑employment, random, post‑accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens.
• Obtain satisfactory pre‑employment background check results.
• Hold a clean driving record.
• Complete pre‑employment medical fit‑for‑duty test and obtain a DOT medical card.
