Adhere to industry best practices, cybersecurity guidelines, and safety protocols.
Integrate data from various field devices (PLCs, RTUs, sensors, databases, etc.) into the SCADA system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deploy site-level and central monitoring systems.
Develop and configure HMI screens, data tags, alarms, and reports to meet operational and project requirements.
Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and enhancements of live SCADA systems.
Managing alarms, indicators, and alert notification.
Work closely with operations and support teams to analyze system issues and implement corrective actions.
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SCADA systems using Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform.
The engineer should be able to Designs, program and maintains SCADA/HMI (Human Machine Interface) user interface using Ignition Designer.
Backup and Restore operations.
Maintain documentation, standards, and version control for SCADA configurations and deployments.

Candidate should be open to work for both - from Pune Office location or Remotely
This person should have expertise in designing and implementing web interfaces using Ignition Perspective.
Familiarity with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) and integration with SCADA.
Experience of handling industrial protocols like Modbus, Profibus, EthernetIP, DNP3, etc.
Strong understanding of SCADA architecture, including client-server communication, tag structures, and database connectivity.
Basic understanding of PLC programming and control logic (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.).
Integration of Maria db /Influx db with the SCADA backend using SQL Bridge.
Exposure to Azure cloud is a plus.
Experience in Interfacing with the OPC Server/Client and other external systems.
The candidate should have a minimum of 4+ years of experience.
Should have expertise in scripting in Python within Ignition.
Experience in setting up and integration with OPC Server and OPC Client.
Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, DNP3, MQTT, etc.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VPN, firewalls, etc.) and system security principles.
Knowledge of scripting languages, especially Python (Ignition’s scripting environment).
Proficiency in SQL for data querying, historization, and report generation.
Experience in Tag Historian and report function implementation
