In this position you will act as the central hub for the AI Technology Programme, maintaining alignment, clarity and momentum across all initiatives while connecting technology with broader business objectives.
- Partner closely with the AI Group Product Lead and AI Tech Lead to define the programme vision, roadmap and governance.
- Lead the AI Programme agenda, ensuring strong collaboration and clarity across teams.
- Coordinate cross‑functional delivery across product, data and engineering teams to design, build and deploy AI solutions.
- Act as a connector between Tech and the wider business, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Champion responsible, ethical AI that meets regulatory, cybersecurity and data‑governance standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and partners for seamless integration with internal platforms.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to gather insights, align priorities and encourage innovation.
- Support a lean, experimental approach to test new ideas quickly and unlock value.

We’re seeking a dynamic and collaborative AI Tech Programme Manager on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to help shape the future of AI within our organisation. The role offers the chance to lead high‑impact programmes, influence strategic decisions, and unlock value through responsible and ethical AI. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, hands‑on environment and enjoys solving complex challenges.
We are looking for candidates with proven experience delivering complex change, strong roadmap‑definition skills, and a solid understanding of product management and agile delivery. A degree or equivalent, familiarity with AI governance frameworks and ethical considerations, and confident stakeholder communication are essential. Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, along with resilience in a rapid‑pace setting, are highly desirable.
- Proven experience delivering complex change in project, programme or delivery management roles.
- Ability to define roadmaps aligned with strategic goals and OKRs.
- Degree‑qualified (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of product management and agile ways of working.
- Hands‑on agile delivery experience, including planning and execution.
- Knowledge of AI governance, risk and compliance, including ethical AI principles and secure data handling.
- Confident communicator with strong influencing and presentation skills, able to engage senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams across product, engineering, data and operational units.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Based in Nottingham (E.ON Next office) with travel to other sites as needed.
