The Project Management Intern at RWE Clean Energy will work directly with Project Managers responsible for large utility‑scale renewable power generation projects, including solar PV, wind, and battery storage. The role supports construction safety, quality assurance, scheduling, contractor scope management, and budget oversight, while ensuring contract compliance and managing project closeout. Interns may also engage with field supervision and project engineering teams as directed.
Applicants should be motivated engineering or construction management students who can work safely in outdoor environments, meet tight deadlines, collaborate with teams, travel to sites, and demonstrate strong problem‑solving and business skills.
The 12‑week full‑time summer internship, based in Chicago, Illinois, offers an hourly rate of $25‑$35 for undergraduates and $30‑$40 for graduate students. Paid time off and holidays are provided. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; the company cannot sponsor visas.
