Certified Public Accountant is a major plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge and familiarity with general accounting principles, including accounts payable/receivables, investments, fixed assets, borrowings, cash, production of spreadsheets, and mathematical concepts.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum of five years of experience in public or corporate accounting.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
High-level analytical skills.
Ability to manage a team and detail-review work performed by others.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong knowledge of PCAOB auditing standards, a plus.
Proficiency with computer-based accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications (a high level of proficiency with Excel is required).
Exposure to accounting for investments and borrowings.
Ability to work within a team environment, across all departments.
