- Provide engineering design, analysis, and studies for domestic or international projects.
- Conduct short‑circuit, protective device coordination, and arc‑flash studies.
- Perform power factor analysis and correction, harmonic modeling and analysis, and grounding analysis.
- Interact with customers to gather information and review engineering plans as needed.
- Work in the field under the Field Services team on shutdown, startup, and maintenance projects.

Shermco Industries is seeking an Arc Flash Engineer. The role involves engineering design, analysis, and studies for both domestic and international projects.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least two years of relevant experience, preferably focused on power systems, and be proficient in SKM, ETAP, Aspen, EZPower, or similar software. Knowledge of voltages up to 500 kV, strong English communication skills, and experience with substations or switchgear are highly desirable.

- Experience with short‑circuit, protective device coordination, arc‑flash, and power quality studies.
- Proficiency in SKM, ETAP, Aspen, EZPower, or other power system modeling software.
- Knowledge of low, medium, and high‑voltage systems up to 500 kV.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Field experience with substations or switchgear (highly desirable).
- Utility design experience (a plus).
- Availability for occasional domestic and international travel (a plus).
