The role involves responding promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests, conducting technical surveys, and reporting findings to the Supervisor.
You will also identify and implement improvements to enhance service delivery, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, perform minor installations, and maintain lighting and distribution systems.
You will ensure that engineering standards are upheld to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated systems.
As a Shift Engineer, you will coordinate client requests, manage enquiries and complaints, and carry out authorised follow-up actions to resolve issues.
As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) in line with established schedules.
Additionally, you will maintain full compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) and adhere to onsite Quality Assurance procedures, keeping accurate records and documentation for all electrical and mechanical aspects of PPM and plant operations.

Salary: £41,500 PLUS £5k shift allowance
