Perform additional estimating assignments as directed by management.
Assist with reviewing historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, and productivity analysis reports into unit and person-hour figures.
Assist in calculating material quantity requirements from engineering drawing dimensions.
Aid in reviewing proposal specifications, drawings, and attending pre-bid meetings to help determine scope of work and required contents of estimates.
Partner with the engineering team to prepare and conduct project hand-off meetings between the pursuit team and project management teams.
Consult with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Assist with design review options and recommend the optimal solution based on cost, engineering quality, and/or availability of materials.
Support the estimating team by helping to prepare discipline estimates through complete takeoff of scope of work.

Must be currently enrolled in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar program at an accredited university or technical college.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Minimum 3.0 GPA, above a 3.5 GPA is preferred.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
