Workday HCM Configurator

Description

On a typical day you will translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions, configure and fine‑tune business processes, and create reports that deliver data‑driven insights. You will also prototype new functionality, present solutions to stakeholders, and lead multiple projects while mentoring junior team members. Continuous improvement and swift corrective actions are key parts of the role.

• Provide techno‑functional input for Workday HCM modules.
• Configure, set up, and maintain core HCM business processes.
• Develop creative Workday solutions that meet business needs.
• Review and update process configurations, including rules, calculations, security, and notifications.
• Collaborate with business partners to document end‑to‑end Workday solutions.
• Design and prototype new Workday functionality.
• Present solutions using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Workday demonstrations.
• Create data‑driven Workday reports.
• Lead multiple tasks/projects, prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Mentor team members to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Identify and implement corrective actions independently.
• Advocate for improvement opportunities and change.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a graduate or master’s degree and bring at least eight years of experience deploying Workday globally, especially in HCM and Business Process workflow modules. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, diverse environment. Familiarity with Agile or project‑management practices and active participation in the Workday Community are also required.

• Experience configuring Workday Business Processes and HCM applications.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Workday HCM and Business Process workflow modules.
• Basic knowledge of Agile and project‑management methodologies.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication for complex stakeholder messaging.
• Passion for creative Workday solutions and active presence in the Workday Community.
