Prepare written correspondence to outside agencies, client, contractor, etc.
Prepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports to include the review of ordinances, utility service research, outside agency regulations and site visits to establish comprehensive development guidelines.
Project coordination with client, other consultants and project team for the purpose of preparing a comprehensive site plan application.
Review municipal zoning and land development ordinances and applicable agency regulations to determine land development limitations for the property.
Perform calculations related to pumping systems and hydraulics for various unit processes at water and wastewater facilities.

Hydraulic Software i.e. Hydraflow, StormCAD, Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA)
Familiar with the use of AutoCAD to assist in the production of site plan drawings.

Utility design experience including water main extensions, gravity sewer conveyance systems, pump station and force mains.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
Proficient in the use of Bluebeam Revu and/or Adobe to prepare design document markups.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Design and drafting capabilities.
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Professional Engineer (PE) license prepferred.
Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals.
Knowledge of the planning and zoning process.
AutoCAD Civil3D
Superior organizational and delegation ability.
Valid driver’s license.
4+ years’ experience in Civil Utilities Engineering.
Proficient in the use of the following design tools for site and utility engineering
Grading and drainage design skills.
