Accountant

Description

• Maintain proper records of vendor bills, payments, and receivables.
• Prepare and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic Formulas).
• Verify, process, and clear employee expenses and reimbursements.
• Handle GST-related work, including preparation, filing, and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Maintain and update Tally entries such as sales, purchase, receipts, payments, credit notes, and journal entries.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties like auditors, vendors, and banks.
• Manage Import documentation, including preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, BOE documents, and coordinating with logistics partners.
• Assist in monthly closing activities and financial reporting.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of GST rules, returns, and reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience in preparing import-related documents.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.
