As a key member of our Direct Labour Organisation (DLO), you’ll carry out a wide range of plumbing and general maintenance tasks across our homes. You’ll work independently, using your multi-skilled expertise to deliver high quality repairs and maintenance with a strong focus on achieving first-time fixes.
This role will be covering our core Buckinghamshire & Berkshire properties but, you may also be expected to travel outside of these areas occasionally.
- Undertake associated tasks such as re-tiling, boxing/bath panels, and making good after plumbing works
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and digital records in line with company procedures
- Deliver a professional, courteous service that reflects our values and commitment to customer care
- Use materials efficiently, maintain van stock, and take care of company assets
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, aiming for a first-time fix wherever possible
- Carry out day-to-day plumbing and general maintenance tasks including drainage repairs (toilets/blockages etc) to a high standard, ensuring timely and effective repairs
- Follow all safety procedures, complete risk assessments, and maintain safe working practices

Plumbing Repairs Technician (Reactive Works) Location: Chesham, High Wycombe plus travel across our property portfolio
Due to the nature of some of our roles involving work with vulnerable members of society, this post may be subject to a basic or enhanced Criminal Disclosure, which will be carried out when a conditional offer is made.
- Strong knowledge of domestic plumbing repairs and fault-finding
- Experience working in social housing or with local authorities
- Full, clean valid UK manual driving licence
- A tablet to manage your schedule and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience with general building tasks such as tiling and decorating
- City & Guilds (Part 1 & 2), NVQ Level 2, or equivalent experience or apprentice trained or minimum 5 years’ experience in plumbing.
