As a Make‑Ready Technician you will transform recently vacated apartments into move‑in ready homes, ensuring the first impression for new residents is positive. The role blends hands‑on maintenance with attention to detail to make each unit look brand new.
Key duties include refreshing apartments by repairing surfaces, replacing fixtures, testing appliances, changing HVAC filters, touching up flooring and carpet, and applying fresh paint. You will maintain a safe work environment, support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs, and interact with residents in a friendly, professional manner while on‑site.
Ideal candidates have at least one year of general maintenance, handyman, or make‑ready experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. They should be detail‑oriented, reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Required skills include treating residents with care, following safety standards, maintaining regular attendance, strong attention to detail, familiarity with a variety of tools, excellent verbal and written communication, respect and confidentiality, solid organizational and time‑management abilities, and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Physical demands involve lifting up to 25 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally, using hands to operate tools, navigating stairs and ladders, and standing or moving for extended periods in various weather conditions. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to meet these requirements.
The position is a full‑time Make‑Ready Technician located at Centennial Tower and Court in Seattle, WA. It offers an hourly wage of $25.00‑$26.00, negligible travel, and a day shift from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional on‑call hours and weekends.
The job provides full‑time stability with a Monday‑through‑Friday schedule and occasional emergency call‑outs.
