Start-up and commissioning, preventative maintenance, installation and repair services of complex AC low and medium voltage variable frequency drives systems (Allen Bradley, ABB, Teco, Toshiba, TMEIC, Siemens-Robicon, etc.) onsite at customer locations.
Communicate regularly with customer on troubleshooting analysis and recommendations and obtain approval to implement recommendations.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam.

Must have at least 2 years either controls experience or VFD experience.
Ability to coordinate between multiple customer, vendor and manufacturer contacts to support job execution.
Must be able to clearly communicate in English via verbal and written methods, and effectively communicate directly to customers and co-workers.
Must be available to work overtime and travel out of town periodically.
Must be able to work SAFELY around high-voltage electricity.
2 Year Electrical Technical degree program; prefer a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
Professional attitude and skills including being a self-starter, organized, motivated, and a problem solver with a positive personality and personal drive.
Must have strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must have a valid driver’s license, and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record.
Benefits
This job does not report to our office. This position would be 100% in the field and reporting to customer sites in and around DFW area. There would be about 30% overnight travel expected. We would provide a company vehicle.
