The material handler delivers material to support the manufacturing process with a focus on inventory control. Under the Warehouse Supervisor’s direction, the handler keeps warehouse items organized by part number, pulls and stages jobs according to the production schedule and pick tickets, and delivers staged jobs as required.

All responsibilities outlined in the Material Handler I job description apply, including familiarity with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. The employee must be trained and certified on forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, stand‑up trucks, etc., and be able to use the ERP system to perform inventory transactions, locate parts by number, and investigate discrepancies. Understanding the quarantine location and adhering to the JCI LEM safety program are also required.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience), a valid forklift certification, strong customer‑service and communication skills, and the ability to perform basic math operations.
The role’s working conditions involve a noisy, dusty, industrial environment with exposure to non‑toxic irritants. Physical demands include standing or walking on concrete, lifting up to 25 lb regularly (occasionally up to 50 lb), climbing, crouching, and operating machinery, vehicles, cranes, ladders, and scaffolding while wearing required PPE.
