The Resident Leasing Associate is responsible for directly engaging prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and revenue. The role encompasses the full sales cycle, including marketing, lead management, tours, closures, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key duties include responding to internet leads, conducting property tours, leasing apartments, and promoting the property’s products and services. The associate must maintain thorough product knowledge, manage leasing data, prepare lease paperwork, and ensure units are ready for move‑in.
Success in this position relies on strong competencies such as customer service, effective oral and written communication, teamwork, strategic thinking, and professionalism. The associate is also expected to uphold diversity, ethics, safety procedures, and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work any day of the week, including on‑call and overtime as needed. Physical requirements involve regular sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 20 lb, with reasonable accommodations available.
