Power Systems Senior Consultant for renewable energy projects, responsible for client interactions, project execution, and proposals. Will act as lead advisor and manage a portfolio of Power Systems work in Australia.
Serve as a power engineer, guiding and reviewing the designs for large generator interconnections related to both onshore and offshore environments, with a working knowledge of the local networks and requirements. This requires knowledge about engineering principles and the ability to review electrical system studies and calculations.
Ensure Ramboll QA/QC procedures are implemented. Understand and implement codes and standards related to the power systems environment.
Manage time, quality and financial aspects on projects and proposals to meet deadlines and project success criteria
Build client relationships and convey technical knowledge convincingly through effective communication and ensuring projects are aligned with Client objectives.
Assist with the performance management process and mentoring
Lead business development and proposals in the Power Systems area
Act as the lead advisor towards a range of Clients, helping resolve project challenges, develop Owner’s standard requirements, reviewing technical submissions from OEM vendors and EPC Contractors, and coordinating with a team of local and international experts.

You have 15+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years’ experience in large scale renewables design or project development.
That you have expert knowledge on electrical systems and components in an Australian context
Electrical engineering degree, B.Eng., BS or MS, Chartered Professional Engineering is highly preferred
You have significant project experience – preferably within a similar role
