  • Partner with Safety, Safety Training & Operations teams to schedule or facilitate required employee trainings: New hire orientation, OSHA ETD Quarterly refresher training, Customer required training, Post-incident training as part of a Corrective Action Plan, and Participate in site-specific safety planning.
  • Provide support to Operations organization for incident case management and documentation steps
  • Follow-up with Operations organization to ensure completion of corrective actions for all accidents and incidents
  • Conduct proactive behavior-based and quality-focused field safety observations and PPE hazard assessments
  • Support company safety committees by assisting in assessment of safety performance trends, implementing process, and tool improvements
  • Coordinate with Operations teams to create site-specific safety plans; actively participate in safety meetings to review job hazard analysis and hazard recognition tools
  • Conduct accident/injury investigations including root cause analyses
  • Participate in project kick off and progress meetings
  • Supporting client-specific safety requirements programs and ensure alignment and compliance between client expectations, company rules, and applicable safety regulations
  • Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards.
  • Coach and mentor project site personnel regarding safety practices and behaviors on an ongoing basis
  • Perform ongoing site visits to observe and document safety behaviors and work conditions to ensure a safety focus throughout all phases of electric construction projects
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to environmental protection or occupational health and safety

  • Basic understanding of electric construction project management practices and procedures
  • Ability to travel for job site visits for extended periods of time
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) field roles - required

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent - required
