  • Arrange for Streetworks Permits as required and in accordance with procedures.
  • Be aware of Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them.
  • Assist with day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
  • Lead on all aspects of Streetworks co-ordination providing clear understanding of all Permits.
  • Implementation of change and alignment to department and business strategy
  • Effective control of the processes, resources and data concerned with Highways authority. Control successful delivery of time bound SLA’s.
  • The role will involve scheduling and programming high volume Thames Water works for multiple teams, issuing road closure, parking suspension application forms to Local Authorities to enable operational delivery.
  • As Streetworks Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the management and administration of permitting. This will involve the monitoring and coordination of Streetworks activities
  • Comply with health and safety standards.
  • Ensure Traffic Management Plans are available in accordance with procedures.
  • Monitor and identify street works compliance, performance risk in relation to Section 74, Fixed Penalty Notice.
  • Liaise with Sub-contractors on effective updates of all permitting matters.
  • Working closely with local authorities, you will be responsible for opening and closing permits using Streetworks systems whilst ensuring that all aspects of the TMA (Traffic Management Act) are met. Respond to Highways comments, PMR and manage active permits to prevent any Fixed Penalty Notices and Overrun charges.
