Description

• Act as primary liaison for applicants, grantees, and institutional administrators.
• Manage the entire RFA process, including announcements, templates, FAQs, and grant activation.
• Review grant budgets, issue award letters, and ensure compliance, including international tax and expenditure verification.
• Oversee creation and review of grant deliverables such as renewals, extensions, and terminations.
• Supervise and mentor Grants Administrator(s), delegating tasks and providing guidance.
• Develop training materials, standard operating procedures, and workflow improvements for the Simons Award Manager system.
• Build and maintain relationships with Scientific Program Directors, managers, and external stakeholders.
• Submit a résumé and cover letter stating interest in the position.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of grant administration experience (5–8 years for senior level).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and strong written and verbal communication; familiarity with SmartSimple or similar systems preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.

Benefits

The position offers a salary range of $99,000 to $135,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
