Coordinate all FTTH outside plant construction project deliverables, managing vendors, subcontractors, project superintendent, and project coordinator/engineer tasks, while liaising with the design team.
Oversee fieldwork to ensure it aligns with project schedules, including project documentation, daily worksheets, project plans, and material demands on inventory.
Prepare comprehensive project plans, including project objectives, scope, budget, detailed schedules, and forecasts.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, regulatory bodies, clients, and community representatives, to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to regulations.
Oversee the project close-out process with the client, ensuring all project requirements are fulfilled and final sign-off is obtained.
Review all project documentation to ensure a full understanding of the project’s scope, specifications, contracts, and each team member’s responsibilities.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to avoid project delays.
Work with Operations to ensure timely turnover of projects for sales and drop crews.
Identify, mitigate, and manage risks and conflicts that could impact the project timeline or budget.
Ensure that all job sites adhere to Health and Safety regulations and verify that insurance coverages are valid for all contractors.
Manage and track all change proposals and change orders, ensuring proper client and internal signoffs, and clearly communicate scope, specifications, and budget changes to team members.
Maintain and update project status reports, ensuring accurate and timely communication with senior management and stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Senior Construction Manager and Project Manager to verify that contractor performance is meeting expectations and forecasts.
Coordinate the review and completion of as-built documentation with the Construction Manager and ensure timely distribution of information.
